What does home mean to you?
For generations, many have seen owning a home as the centerpiece of the American dream. The Housing Development Fund helps low- and moderate- income households prepare to buy their first home with free counseling services and low-interest downpayment assistance programs. To date, we've helped almost 1,600 families purchase their first home. Our Foreclosure Intervention program also helps families fighting to keep the homes they've worked so hard for, providing unbiased guidance, expertise and support to households in crisis.
