Partners

HDF’s Foreclosure Prevention Forum where representatives of lenders from Fairfield County meet with clients facing foreclosure.
Lending Institutions
HDF has relationships with various banks for both our multifamily loan fund and our SmartMove Homeownership Program. For our Multifamily Loan Fund banking partners, see our Multifamily Lending page (under “Participating Banks”). For our SmartMove Homeownership Program banking partners, see our Homebuyers Lending Products page (under “Participating Banks”).
To become a participating investor, a bank or a corporation must agree to the existing agreement between HDF and the banks already in the pool. This agreement is revised periodically. Investors in our loan pools can elect to serve on our different Loan Committees. For more information, contact Joan Carty.
Local, State & Federal Government
Working closely with various cities, towns, and other government agencies, HDF has been able to leverage private capital investments to make scarce subsidy dollars work harder in creating much needed affordable housing in the region. Our close working partnerships include:
- Charter Oak Communities (City of Stamford Housing Authority)
- City of Bridgeport
- City of Danbury
- City of Norwalk Redevelopment Agency
- City of Stamford, Community Development Program
- Connecticut Housing Finance Authority
- State of Connecticut Department of Economic and Community Development (DECD)
- Town of Fairfield
- Town of Greenwich, Office of Community Development
- US Department of the Treasury Community Development Financial Institution (CDFI) Fund
