New Shore Up CT Program Manager Emmeline Harrigan Profiled in Milford Mirror

HDF welcomes new Shore Up CT Program Manager Emmeline Harrigan, whose arrival at HDF and work with this new initiative to help shoreline residents improve the storm resiliency of their homes has been detailed in a profile piece by the Milford Mirror. Harrigan, a longtime resident of Milford, and employee of the City of Milford recently joined HDF’s staff and is helping to launch this new loan program.

Mayor Mark Boughton to Join HDF at Kick-Off of HOME IN A DAY Event at 11am on July 18th at West Conn

On Friday, July 18th HDF will host a one-day event in Danbury on the campus of Western CT State University called HOME IN A DAY where homebuyers can become pre-qualified by one of six local banks for a mortgage and learn about other support to help them purchase a home. Aspiring homeowners can visit Western Connecticut State University between 11am and 6pm that day and check their eligibility for generous state-wide housing assistance programs including Live Where You Work program (LWYW) and SmartMove.
